Throwback Thursday - 1927 CBC Library

Behold! This is how the CBC library at the original Adams Street campus looked in 1927. The book stacks are at the far end of the room by the windows.

Some things haven't changed since 1927. On extreme closeup, we see a sign telling students to "Ask for What You Want" and "Do Not Hesitate to Ask Assistance Because the Librarian Seems Busy."

We also still subscribe to journals like Scientific American and Popular Science, although we now offer far more electronic journals than print.
