Let's Salsa

The word Salsa literally means “sauce”. However, to the foodie world, salsa is known as the combination of ingredients, like tomatoes, peppers, cilantro, even fruits such as mango or pineapples that add bright flavors and spice to foods. But to music lovers, Salsa is a musical genre that fuses musical ingredients that spur from Afrocaribbean music influences such as the Puerto Rican “Plena” and the Cuban “Son” that will put some spice to any dance floor.

If you are a foodie, a music lover, or simply want to have a good time, joins everyone in Alfonso Dining Hall on Monday, March 31st from 11:00am – 1:00pm as Multicultural Week kicks off with a celebration of Hispanic/Latino Heritage Day.

We will have great food and salsa-dancing; so come hungry, put on your dancing shoes, and join us for a great time! And while you're waiting for tomorrow, check our this from Films on Demand:
This event is sponsored by the CBU Student Services Diversity Committee.
