Registering with a Database

We have many research databases for you to use--some general, some specialized. Depending on what you're studying, you'll have your favorites, and it's with your favorite databases that you may want to register.

Registration unlocks special, personalized database features. Typical options include the ability to personalize the interface, save references from one session to another, set up alerts, or keep track of your search history. These last three options can be especially useful over the course of a long research project.

Look around for a link to My [name-of-database], My Account, or Sign-In. Click on it, and follow the instructions.

Registration is totally optional on your part, and it exists between you and the database. This means: don't expect your CBU login to work. You'll have to choose your own username and password when you set up your account.
