Islamic Art Spot: Geometry

Interested in design? Take a look at this video essay about geometry and ornamental design in Islamic art. This, along with many other books and online resources, was made available to Plough Library as part of the Bridging Cultures: Muslim Journeys grant. Other resources on Islamic art in the grant include the film, Islamic Art: Mirror of the Invisible World (call # 709 I75) and the Jonathan Bloom and Sheila Blair's book, Islamic Art (call # 709 B56).

The Bridging Cultures Bookshelf: Muslim Journeys is a project of the National Endowment for the Humanities, conducted in cooperation with the American Library Association. Support was provided by a grant from Carnegie Corporation of New York. Additional support for the arts and media components was provided by the Doris Duke Foundation for Islamic Art.
