EBSCO eBook: Generation on Fire

Jeff Kisseloff's Generation on Fire: Voices of Protest from the 1960s: an Oral History (University of Kentucky Press, 2007) provides first person recollections of the counterculture and protest movements of the 1960s.

Kisseloff interviews fifteen people, each representing different aspects of the era. He provides brief historic background before letting each person speak for him or herself--Freedom Rider, anti-war protester, underground news writer, feminist, Digger, musician, artist, commune dweller, and more.

Generation on Fire is one of our EBSCO eBooks, available online to students, staff, and faculty at Christian Brothers University.
