Rules of Thumb for Chemical Engineers

A  new addition to our Knovel subscription to online reference works in biotechnology, chemistry, and engineering is the fifth edition of Stephen Hall's Rules of Thumb for Chemical Engineers (Elsevier, 2012). A favorite handbook, it offers on-the-job solutions to problems in the processing sectors with techniques, calculations, shortcuts, and workarounds. It includes new material on biopharmaceuticals as well as revisions related to fluid flow, fractionation, heat exchangers, and more.

Knovel titles are available online to students, faculty, and staff of Christian Brothers University.
