New book: Into the Blue

Into the Blue: American Writing on Aviation and Spaceflight (call # 813 I58c 2011) is one of our new books. Edited by Joseph Corn, Into the Blue is a collection of essays and excerpts by American writers from the Revolutionary period to the present. Included among the authors are Benjamin Franklin, Ida Tarbell, the Wright Brothers, Charles Lindbergh, Amelia Earhart, John dos Passos, Gertrude Stein, Tom Wolfe, Norman Mailer, John Glenn, Buzz Aldrin, and more.
