Earthquake Hazards Program

The Earthquake Hazards Program is part of the U.S. Geological Survey's National Earthquake Hazards Reduction Program (NEHPP), and as such, it monitors earthquakes. An interactive map displays earthquakes from round the world in real-time, and detailed information--location, time, affected cities, intensity, historic seismicity--can be found about significant quakes occuring in the past 30 days. A variety of hazard analysis tools are available, and data files can be downloaded. All are freely available through the website.
